Prior to finding this lucrative home business opportunity, I was working two full time jobs: a Retail Manager, and an MLM Coordinator/Consultant for a Ladies Wear company, just to make ends meet. I wasn't spending any quality time with my 5 children because I was rarely home. We were barely surviving on our incomes and when you don't know if you can put food on the table that week, it can be a really scary thing. 3 of my children had Type 1, insulin-dependent Diabetes and I really wanted to be home with them to make sure they were properly cared for instead of working 24/7 to make sure I had enough money for the drugs they needed. I simply was sick and tired of working so hard for someone else to put money in their pocket instead of my own and of having so little time for my family. I wasn't being appreciated at work and I was finding myself constantly telling my children, "No we can't do that, I don't have the time," or "No, you can't have that, because we don't have enough money." I was fed up with only just getting by. We were in "survival" mode. I just wanted to be home with my kids and have the time, freedom and income to give them what they deserved, and what I deserved.
Working in a retail environment was very stressful, and having already been self-employed with an MLM company, I really understood the value and benefits of working from home and being my own boss. If I wanted to climb the ladder in retail, it meant spending more time away from home, and having to relocate. What I didn't like about MLM was that I was sharing the profits for each sale and that my success was determined by the results of my team. My team didn't have the same desire level or the same kind of income goals that I had, and the company lacked vision for the future so I felt stuck. After 16 years in that business, I still had not achieved my goal of financial freedom and was no where near my goal of early retirement.
I had been a student of personal development and learned about the Law Of Attraction years ago, but was not applying the principles that I learned to my life because I wasn't ready and didn't know how to leave the negative environment that was part of my day-to-day reality.
